Wacom's Inkling
>> 01 September, 2011
Wacom releases Inkling, a digital sketch pen that captures the way we draw, transferring these to our laptop as vector from the Inkling Sketch Manager software into Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (CS3+), Autodesk Sketchbook Pro (2011+) or Autodesk Sketchbook Designer.
Inkling can be used on any type of paper with a maximum paper size of A4 (210 x 297 mm, 8.27” x 11.69”), transferred as a layered vector, and can be saved into JPG, BMP, TIFF, PNG, SVG or PDF.

I'm opting to purchase Inkling because it will capture my doodles and sketches the way I actually draw them, thus, creating a signature look.
The common problem when I scan my sketches is when I vector them because of the amount of time to create the outlines and inevitably lose the quality of my hand-drawn skill in a number of areas.
