The Way Love Goes by Lemar

>> 19 June, 2010

Talk about not being updated to music! When Chrysler told me about Lemar's 'The Way Love Goes', I instantly fell in-love with the beat 'cause the song is awesome for dancing!!!

Don't wanna rot my playlist without current dance hits :p

By the way, pay close attention to the lyrics, you might relate yourself to it XD

The Way Love Goes by Lemar

Lyrics:

Oh whoa
Oh oh
I never thought that I would ever love again
I mIght be wrong cos I can feel It happening
a little scared but I am not petrified
I love forever, I promise to stay by your side
heart broken, my first and never spoken
I waited to here and I gave it a year
so I stopped holdIng on and then you came along
and then you came along
I'm gonna, I'm I'm I'm gonna

I hold you, I love you the best that I can
untIl you understand that I need you (?)
and I can't dance alone cos the beat's just too slow
that's just the way love goes,
that's just the way love goes (uh uh)

I use to think that I would never get to be
In love again cos that was the only one for me
and now I feel that you have come and saved me
this heart of mine awoken by your smile
heart broken, my first and never spoken
I waited to here and I gave it a year
so I stopped holding on and then you came along
and then you came along
I'm gonna, I'm I'm I'm gonna

I hold you, I love you the best that I can
untIl you understand that I need you (?)
and I can't dance alone cos the beat's just too slow
that's just the way love goes,
that's just the way love goes

I hold you, I love you the best that I can
untIl you understand that I need you (?)
and I can't dance alone cos the beat's just too slow
that's just the way love goes,
that's just the way love goes

(gotta get strong, keep moving on) (x8)

someone's comIng to save me
someone's comIng to save me
save me, save me, save me

I hold you, I love you the best that I can
untIl you understand that I need you (?)
and I can't dance alone cos the beat's just too slow
that's just the way love goes,
that's just the way love goes

I hold you, I love you the best that I can
untIl you understand that I need you (?)
and I can't dance alone cos the beat's just too slow
that's just the way love goes,
that's just the way love goes

No Internet

Oh no! Our dog chewed our broadband's network cable :( I have already reported the incident, hopefully they would respond to our inquiry as soon as possible.

Looks like I'll be making more trips to net cafes.

Still, the blogging must go on :)

Inside my Heart by Hi-5

>> 18 June, 2010

Have you ever had any unforgettable memories of watching children television shows when you were still young? Sweet memories of having fun and in a state of peace; recalling specific scenes, ideas, songs or activities. There were times when you don't want the show to end nor can't wait for the next episode.

I'm sure you had these experiences too and it just can't get old :)

An Australian children show called 'Hi-5' is one of my favorites. For 30 minutes, it is run by five persons (Charli Robinson, Nathan Foley, Tim Harding, Kathleen De Leon, and Kellie Hoggart - original cast) each with their own sections of activities contributing to the theme of the episode.

I had a blast of memories with Hi-5 and the cast's ending theme from their fourth season called "Inside my Heart" is the best!

*sigh*

I gotta admit, whenever I watch this, the last chorus always brings tears to my eyes... And it still does... Don't want the show to end :')

Inside my Heart by Hi-5

Lyrics:

There's a place in my heart
And it's there just for you
Inside your heart
Is where dreams can come true

Put your hand in mine
Take one step at a time
There's a place in my heart ... for you

Inside my heart
There's a place for you
Always and forever (Always and forever)
Inside my heart
There's a place for you
Always and forever (Always and forever)
Inside my heart
Inside my heart

There's a place in our house
And it's there just for you
Inside our house
There's a room with a view

Just knock on the door
I'll be there for sure
There's a place in our house ... for you

Inside my heart
There's a place for you
Always and forever (Always and forever)
Inside my heart
There's a place for you
Always and forever (Always and forever)

Inside my heart
Inside my heart
Inside my mind
Inside my body, you will find
Strength and love and happiness
You'll find a way to be your best
Be your best

Inside my heart
There's a place for you
Always and forever (Always and forever)
Inside my heart
There's a place for you
Always and forever (Always and forever)
Inside my heart
Inside my heart

112th Philippine Independence Day

>> 12 June, 2010

Hey everybody, I'm bubbly to greet everyone a happy, happy, HAPPY 112th Philippine Independence Day :)

And with that said, I made a huge Philippine Flag on my farmville farm from selected flowers to match the colors.

I have thought of this idea months ago and I know the idea is not new but it is worth the shot... and the wait :)

(click thumbnail to enlarge)

You can also call this an update of my farm back in January when I featured this. But I have been playing less of the game, just updating my decorations whenever there are juicy ones.

Anyways, Happy Independence Day everybody :)

EDIT - June 14, 2010 - 8:32 a.m.
The day before the Philippine Independence Day, I sent my farmville farm design to FarmvilleFreak.com for my chances to be featured 'cause it was also one of my motives aside from making a huge Philippine Flag.

I didn't get a reply the day after but later this morning, FarmGoddess from the website said they featured it.

I was literally jumping around and with a loud voice, telling my sister about it. I was sweating like a pig =))

Click here for the blog entry of my featured farmville farm design. I really can't believe this happened :)

Thank you FarmvilleFreak.com, FarmGoddess and to your staff :)

Lightning Reaction Revenge

>> 06 June, 2010

I found a weird game called 'Lighting Reaction Revenge' that has been around since 2006. It is a test of reaction were players get electric shocks if they react the slowest.

It's pointless and annoying but kinda fun... I'm stuck in between XD

The game consists of four handles, each equipped with a button. Each player grabs a handle and the game is started. A red light starts to blink and a nasty wailing sound is played. Then, suddenly, the light will turn green and sound goes silent. At that point, players must push the button in their handle. The last player to do that gets an electrical shock. Players will also be shocked, if they push the button while the light is red.

Extreme mode : in this mode only the fastest button pusher is safe, while the rest are shocked. Obviously this only makes a difference with 3 or 4 players. With 2, it plays identical to the original.

Revenge mode : in this mode each player chooses who they would like to shock if they were to win. Press the button on the handle until the red light on your base control is targeting your chosen victim. The 3 lights correspond as follows : centre is the player opposite, left is the player to your left and right is the player to your right. Start the game and the fastest finger gets to shock their chosen victim.

The game uses three AAA batteries, so the shock is not dangerous, but it certainly adds an element of tension to the otherwise rather simple test of reacting speed. [Source : BoardGameGeek.com]

Will I try this game? Yes.

Will I buy it? Maybe :)

Pixels by Patrick Jean

>> 05 June, 2010

'Pixels' is a short film by Patrick Jean about New York being invaded by 8-bit creatures.

I like this a lot but it's quite short (duh) 'cause I wanted more chaos, destruction and see what other stuff these 8-bit creatures can do. Nevertheless, it's a job well done.

Enjoy watching and oh, you may want to consider keeping your old games >:)

Devastating gulf oil spill

>> 04 June, 2010

The Gulf of Mexico oil spill last April 20 caused a devastating effect on our environment. It has polluted crystalline waters and killed a wide range of animals from birds to underwater sea creatures.

The drilling rig Deepwater Horizon, owned by Transocean Ltd. and leased by BP PLC, is responsible for this catastrophe. The spill occurred when an explosion took place killing 11 workers.

It has been 45 days since the oil spill. Efforts to stop it is prepared but sadly, it wasn't successful. At this point, between 18 to 39 million gallons of oil is in the gulf.

Below are images from the spill. Believe me, it's quite disturbing :'(

I can't do anything but pray, be green, help mother nature in my own way, and broadcast news from my blog.

Please, let's save our environment...

Sony Bloggie MHS-CM5

>> 03 June, 2010

After a year of having a Nokia Supernova and almost two years of having a Sony Cybershot DSC-W80, I have decided to buy a camcorder for my own use.

I scavenge the net for an affordable, pocket-fit, high-qaulity, and sleak design camcorder that would suit my needs and attitude. And based from my research, I think I just found the right one.

Meet the Sony Bloggie MHS-CM5.

Cost: $199.99 = P9,280.53

For a complex review of the Sony Bloggie, please read from Cnet. More information at SonyStyle.com

Now, I'm not a gadget expert so I've embedded Brian's awesome, and detailed review about the Sony Bloggie.

For now, the drawbacks that bugs me to Sony Bloggie is the way to charge the battery 'cause it's through USB not to an external charger. Another, since this gadget is slim, I wonder if it could stand on its own. Lastly, is the quality still fine when used at night?

Anyhow, I'll still buy this. I haven't bought it yet. In due time :)
