Dance Machines Philippines (DMPH) 6th GEB

Last April 18, 2010, Dance Machines Philippines (DMPH) went to SM Megamall for the 6th Grand Eyeball. The venue almost had all the new dance machines, such as, Dance Dance Revolution X, Pump it Up Absolute, and Dance Maniax 2nd. Also, ParaParaParadise 2nd, and DDR Supernova.

In this GEB, we wanted to try something new aside from playing arcade games, and that is, to play bowling. It was a flawless main event 'cause this was one of the tasks assigned to me.

But when we got there, the bowling area was nowhere to be found. There aren't any signs of renovation so we figured it had closed.

It sure was a bummer but after a much discussion on what to do next, we decided to watch a movie. And whoever thought picking one was a pain XD Anyway, we pinned a detective-like suspense movie called 'Shutter Island' starring Leonardo DiCaprio. It was awesome! I might make a movie review so stay tuned to that.

Overall, I find our 6th GEB interesting because of the switching of plans. The main point of all our eyeballs is to bond and to have fun. And we did. We all had our own share of hangovers XD

I know everybody had a rough trip back home, still, I'm thankful this GEB was a success. To those who weren't there, I do hope you could bond with us on our 7th :)

Oh-Wheezers version 3.0

YES! After months of planning, I've finally pinned my ass in-front of the laptop to change my Oh-Wheezers' layout from the temporary.

And as always, it wasn't easy to change layouts 'cause of the widgets, the advertisements, the social media icons, more widgets, and all the sidebar stuff.

Now, I've chosen a downloadable template called Bold Life because of its clean and sophisticated look, a touch of weirdness and it all spells Oh-Wheezers. Yep, another layout that speaks about my personal blog.

Hope you like the new layout :]

Philippine Government focusing less on our environment

It's freakingly hot in the Philippines and it rises every month... We've been having problems with illegal loggers but also to Filipinos who doesn't care about our environment...

Why haven't the Philippine Government focus more attention to our natural resources? It's a mutualism that works in both ways, the positive and the negative. Positive in a way that we take care of nature, it take cares of us, otherwise, it kills. Thus, taking it for granted leads to consequences drastic to the human mind.

*sighs*

Save the Environment. Save a life. I saved my life, I saved yours, I even saved our children's future.

Now that's happiness.

Archie Comics' first openly gay character

Archie's world has a wide range of stories from the mysteries to hang-outs to the imaginative to the fun to the emotional and to the impossible. But has it ever struck you that a gay character would be a possible addition to the gang?

Surprising isn't it?

Well get ready to meet the openly gay dude named Kevin Keller on Veronica #202 this September 1st.

The full-issue story, "Isn't it Bromantic?" introduces Kevin to have successfully won over Jughead in a burger eating contest at Pop's Chocklit Shoppe. Veronica desperately wants the new guy but for obvious reasons, he doesn't want her. On a conversation at Pop's, Kevin confides to Jughead that he is gay.

Whoa, I guess this is something to look out for :)

Recently, in a forum I am into, I've got to watch a music video posted in one the threads. I instantly fell in-love with it! The piano, the beat like gosh! I was drooling all over the floor when I heard it!

Easy listening to the song sure made me all fuzzy again :) So wanna dance this XD

Okay, okay enough of the intro. The song is called Starlight Love by HybRefine. Not much information about the group, even Wikipedia failed to provide one XD

Now, I got to squirm around Youtube and luckily, I got to see the original music video with vocals.

I listened and it did made me happy... but it automatically turned into sadness... 'cause I knew from hearing the vocals (without even looking at the video) had me realize that this is actually a sad song...

And it cracked me up so bad! :'(

*sighs*

I'm updating this blog entry to add the lyrics to Starlight Love. I'm really happy to finally sing along with it. As always, before posting such, I check the lyrics for its validity. Blared my headphones and matched the vocals. The beat sure made me want to dance lols.

While enjoying the beat and scrutinizing the lyrics, I found a very shocking revelation. The music video above leaves out two stanzas. It is questionable and I don't have an answer for that. So below is the full song with the complete lyrics of Starlight Love. The italicized stanzas are the ones included in the full version.
