Manila Bulletin launches special 3D format edition

>> 28 September, 2010

"10 Palace offices abolished," Manila Bulletin's headline quickly caught my attention. Aquino's move saves P304.62 M from abolishing 10 redundant offices under his administration. I scanned the article to identify the targets... 'til I was distracted by a huge '3D sign'.

It says, "Be a part of history and grab a copy of the Manila Bulletin as we launch this Friday, September 24, 2010, a special edition in 3D format. This is a breakthrough in technology and first of its kind in the Philippine newspaper industry. The 3D edition features choice segments, allowing readers to view the photographs with the aid of 3D glasses. Each special edition of the Manila Bulletin comes with 3D glasses and is available only in selected areas in Metro Manila."

Bloody wicked!

But boo hoo to us who live in the Provinces.

Does this really work? Has anybody tried using the 3D glasses and experienced a new dimension to reading Manila Bulletin's newspaper?

The front page would look really rad in 3D and so as to the other chosen images inside the newspaper. I scanned them for future use (really? :p)

Now I wonder... Does the 3D effect in the newspaper still work now that I scanned it? lols

*sigh* will somebody please lend me their 3D glasses XD

Galing... pati newspaper meron ng 3d. Sinubukan kong tingnan yung mga pictures using my 3d glass na nakuha ko sa FHM 3D Issue nila.
