A 'Blue Moon' on New Year's Eve of 2010

News has it that a blue moon will occur this New Year's Eve of 2010. Not literally in blue color 'cause a 'blue moon' is a term where a full moon has occurred twice in a month.

A full moon occurs every 29.5 days, and most years have 12. On average, an extra full moon in a month — a blue moon — occurs every 2.5 years. The last time there was a lunar double take was in May 2007. New Year's Eve blue moons are rarer, occurring every 19 years. The last time was in 1990; the next one won't come again until 2028. - [Source]

Scandalous Katrina Halili photo editing

MEGA Magazine's August 2009 issue with Katrina Halili as their cover is extremely an eyesore for graphic artists! Why? Well take a closure look at the obviously bad photo edit of the model's hands.

Freaky isn't it?

Now with a more closer look you'll notice the hand to be extremely flexible! Just look at that thumb! lols Some fingers are missing, two of them glued together and to top it all, the skin tone is off!

Ferdinand Center for the Creative

The Ferdinand Center for the Creative is an awesome project that aims to build a design school for Filipinos living in Poverty by providing quality education for them.

Currently, the Ferdinand CC has a property to where the school be erected and also an architect who designed the interiors. Now their goal is to reach $50,000 before March 14, 2010, Central Standard Time. They're using a kickstarter account so if they didn't meet the goal, all the funds will be returned to the owners and they get nothing.

Dancemachinesph 5th geb

DanceMachines Philippines' (DMPH) 5th geb is the most discussed event than the previous eyeballs 'cause there was a huge confusion with the plans. And boy was it memorable :p We learned from the experience and will correct all the mistakes we did :) I guess no more geb's near Christmas :p

Now with that being said, I came late... unintentional :p

So the DMPH members who came early went on to the arcade to play and dance. We had Dance Dance Revolution, Pump it Up, ParaparaParadise, Dance Maniax, and D-Tech! Wohoo! They're such a crowd magnet. You got to see them perform live :)

Later that day, we ate at Pizza Hut for more teasing and group togetherness hehehe... more like an all-guys hang-out :p

'Sexbomb' sings about the Philippine Poll Automation - 2010 Elections

I was intrigued to discover a music video from the Sexbomb dancers entitled "Bilog na Hugis Itlog", teaching Filipinos about the basic step to vote for the the upcoming Automated Philippine Elections in 2010, that is, to shade the circle with the corresponding name of the chosen candidate we wish to sit in the position.

For obvious reasons, the instructions to vote is quite simple but I'll let this pass 'cause a number of Filipinos are still confused about the new system. Besides, It was fun watching the video 'cause we got a political song without any stupid political candidates to support it. Kudos! :)

Mysterious Letters

An interesting article about project artists Michael Crowe and Lenka Clayton's idea to send letters to a Polish Hill neighborhood caught my attention 'cause they don't have any close connection to any of them.

The mail art Crowe and Clayton started is something they dreamed of 'cause they wanted to write everyone in the world. It may contain either informative, weird, fresh, or lively ideas that catches everybody's attention. Quite puzzling at first but eventually the light bulb will light and the process of understanding will immerse.

Yep this is amazing but there were mixed reactions about the project and you know how weird it is to receive a letter from somebody you don't know. Some thought this was a practical joke or a stalker note that could threat to their lives.

The artists were aware of the misleading conclusions and may have hated the entire project but still they appreciate the recipients' time to react to the idea written on the hand-written letters.

Obviously, I may freak out to receive a letter from someone I hardly know but nevertheless this ideas warmed me up :)

Gosh, I'm torn to post a blog entry to three songs that I'm currently addicted to. They all came from the DJ Max Clazziquai Edition to which are present in the DJMax Technika arcade series - the game I'm currently learning.

Therefore, I decided to make a three-part post for this addiction, continuing tomorrow and the day after that.

The first song is entitled "I Want You" by Lin-G. This is quite addictive 'cause the way she sang the lyrics is undeniably cute! It matches with a fun, cool beat that makes me smile and dance :)

Note & Admira kiss?

Episode 4 of My HP Space was a total shock to everyone when Note gave Admira an eye-popping kiss midway their presentation for a room challenge.

I jaw-dropped seeing them do it, not by fascination but more of disgust! I mean it was a total eeewww!!! Dead as fish! Damn gross!!

Note is a nice guy but he's not masculine enough to give a pretty girl a good kiss. I feel bad for her.

I wish Daivd Tang or Uni Lee did this to Admira :(

Thoughts on the final 4 of The Amazing Race 15

The tension, the stake, the temper and the competitiveness of the top three teams quickly arises as they make their way to win $1,000,000 and the title to be the official winner of The Amazing Race 15.

Judging by the top 4 teams, I'd say they do deserve their positions. Dating contestants Meghan and Cheyne did an impressive race by grabbing a mouthful of first place finishes in the couple of legs. This team is likely to win this season 'cause they don't bicker too much and they handle all the challenges with focus.

However, Gay brothers Sam and Dan often fight at anything that messes their opportunity to finish a task particularly at each other. Their behavior is acceptable because they're blood-related. This team is one of my top 3 teams that I want to compete 'till the end, I just hope they could get a grip, communicate, and understand each other.

Married couple Ericka and Brian may have been bickering at times but they quickly get along after that. This team has encountered numerous of obstacles but they kept on coming back to play the game. They're likely to win but we'll just see how Ericka may lose more of her temper at a challenge.

Lastly, Harlem Globetrotters Flight Time and Big Easy's team is one of the most competitive pair this season. However, I was truly disappointed when Big Easy took the penalty of 4hrs when he cannot rearrange a 5-letter word in a Road Block o_O; Like come on! It was an easy guess! If a deaf guy can do it (Luke from TAR 14) why can't he? Luke guessed a Russian name and it's more that 5 letters!!!

Besides, the Harlem Globetrotters shouldn't have chosen to take the penalty 'cause it's a race for the final 3!!! Oh God, it's like a replay of Kisha & Jen's team from TAR 14 where one of them has to pee when all they really have to do that time was find Phil and check-in their time. They could've taken the 3rd spot for the final 3 *rolls eyes*

Ahem!
