Remember My Collection of Memorabilia's to remember Cory Aquino post? Well last Saturday, I was at the National Bookstore of SM Manila to find a BizNewsAsia Magazine that features Cory and Ninoy Aquino. The store ran out of stock of the issue but luckily I found a rare and hard-to-find copy of Time Magazine that features Cory Aquino.

To my dismay, the clerk told me that the magazine was reserved. I asked if there was another copy but it was the last one. A clerk told the other that the reservation has already lapsed three days. My eyes widened 'cause this may be an opportunity.

I persuaded them to give me the Time Magazine. They contemplated a bit and just like that, they gave it to me. YAYNESS!!! :)

Whoever reserved the magazine should have came back for it 'cause it is a rare find and it will be a collector's item someday :)

Oh I almost forgot, I also bought a BizNewsAsia Magazine that features President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's last State of the Nation Address (SONA) :)

Bendito Machine 1, 2, and 3

>> 28 August, 2009

I'm an instant fan to unique stuff from clothes to books to music to graphic arts to ideas and etc. They're praise-worthy masterpieces 'cause I know they were made with full dedication, love, and sweat from their creators.

Right now, I'm featuring Director Jossie Malis' animation called Bendito Machine that clearly focuses on power, corruption, religion, and machines. Three videos are currenly produced each containing a different style to interpret a person's way of having power.

All the videos creeped me out 'cause with a civilized planet were living in, it's how people think these days, not everybody but that's how it mostly goes.

Oh my, I fell-in-love with Malis' concept of Bendito Machine :) I can't wait to see the next installments :)

Art: Release!

>> 27 August, 2009

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I badly wanted to blog about my wallpaper yesterday but animepaper.net hasn't approved it yet. I checked the site awhile ago and I'm glad to tell everyone that it passed :)

YAY! I've finally finished making another widescreen wallpaper entitled Release! featuring the lovable Sakura Kinomoto from the anime Card Captor Sakura.

(click thumbnail to download)

She's so kawaii in this pose XD

Release! took me three gruelling months of vectoring 'cause of an on and off procedure in finishing this. It may be tiring but the end product is worth the sweat :)

I was skeptical to finish this wall because I always had trouble vectoring anime eyes. They came out insanely weird! I guess that would have explained why my other walls doesn't have any eyes :p But then again, I surprised myself when I did an awesome job with this facial feature. Yipee!!! :]

You may wonder why I haven't added any text in Release! Well the thing is, it's my first time to vector something good. Besides, the text may have messed-up what I was trying to focus on... my vectoring skill.

Whew! I'm glad this wallpaper got approved. More wallpapers to come :)

Posting stuff online can backfire

>> 25 August, 2009

I'm a recent user of Facebook and find it okay in a way. But honestly, I have no intention of signing-up even if this social networking website infiltrated the minds of the Filipinos because I have other accounts to manage and adding another one can trigger my self-destruct button!

Luckily, it didn't... yet.

Anyway, an online article about employers looking at their applicant's Facebook account caught my attention the most. Employers scan through their candidate's profile, pictures, how they interact, and what stuff they post the most.

If you say it's self-expression and meant no harm then I'm on your side but stirring up a storm can 'cause severe damage with unimaginable laces of fury!

Here's the deal, you tweeted, plurked, blogged, walled, replied, and commented about how you hated your parents, telling a mischievous gossip or bad-mouthing a high-profiled person and thought you'll get away with it instantly, well listen pal, this tiny data can cross borders instantly too.

Have you forgotten about the power of the World Wide Web? If you're still underestimating it then think again 'cause the Internet is a humongous web of interconnected computers, laptops, and cellphones. Let's see how you get out of that!

Remember, the push of a button can be an antidote and can also be a disease. No matter how simple it is, as long as you posted it then you're accountable to how it turns out. The consequences are unmeasurable but if you have a back-up plan to destroy or defend it then give yourself a pat in the back. But if failed to do so then there's no one to blame but you. Nobody, nobody but you! ROFL! XD

Song of Jigglypuff

>> 21 August, 2009

One of the most memorable songs that I've heard from the Pokemon Jukebox is the Song of Jigglypuff because of it's relaxing tune and cute lyrics to which I've memorized a year ago :p

The first time I heard this, I know I gotta have a copy of it and luckily I did :)

To those who aren't watching Pokemon, Jigglypuff is a ballon type Pokemon that has a powerful singing voice to make its enemy sleep, thus, it works on humans too :p

Song of Jigglypuff

Lyrics:

Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...puff!
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...

Anytime, anyplace, anywhere
With trouble brewing
Or laughter in the air
With a smile, with a sigh, with with all the right stuff
There are so many times when the song is just enough

Magical powers
In the lush grass
In the shade of Mt. Moon
May the song, Soothe you
The power of the melody moves you

Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...
Jiggly!

When it all seems lost
Out of control
The struggle breaks down
And Fear takes its toll
You can count a friend whose just tough enough
And the song that's alive in the heart of Jigglypuff

Hours and hours
In the lush grass
At the base of Mt. Moon
May the song, Soothe you
The power of the melody moves you
The sing attack grooves you
The power of the melody moves you

Jiggly!
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...puff!
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...

Defense Curl, Think again
Power punch, You're never win
Double-Slap, That's nothin' new
Double-Edge, You're bound to lose
Body Slam, Disable
The real power's in the song!

Anytime, anyplace, anywhere
With trouble brewing
Or laughter in the air
You can count a friend whose just tough enough
And the song that's alive in the heart of jigglypuff

Magical powers
In the lush grass
In the shade of my moon
May the song move you
The song, Soothes you
The power of the melody moves you
The sing attack groves you
The power of the melody moves you

Jig! Jigglypuff!

Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...puff!
The power of the melody!
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...
Moves you...
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...puff!
The sing attack!
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...
Groves you...
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...puff!
The power of the melody!
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...
Moves you...
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...puff!
The power of the melody!
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...
Moves you...
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...puff!
The power of the melody!
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...
Moves you...
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...puff!
The power of the melody!
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...
Moves you...
Jiggaly...puff...jiggaly...

Jig! Jigglypuff!

Opting to purchase a new cellphone

For almost a year, my current simple, not-so-classy-cellphone is starting to bug me with its inability to recharge its battery. This isn't much of a problem 'cause I can recharge it thru my sister's cellphone, that is, if she's not using it.

Honestly, I have no intention of buying a new mobile phone 'cause I'm not into them. I would rather purchase a laptop because the screen resolution and the list of features is vast. Besides, it's more wiser and economical to have this 'cause I spend more time online, play games, and create my art.

So what if your cellphone has a Wi-Fi connection or a touch screen or a video call thingie or a mini-swiss knife or a refrigerator! All I know is, you use your cellphone to text message and to call someone. Don't think that I have no clue to the advantages of having such classy gadgets, I'm not that dumb!

Like I said, I'm not much of a fan or an obsessed consumer. You can't make me buy these and treat them as my bestest-bestest friend in the whole wide world!!! Unless you bought me one :p

Geez, with all the talk about cellphones, I still have to buy a new one.

I'm routing for a nice, clean, economical and semi-classy mobile phone 'cause I'm sticking to a budget. I may also consider a feature that plays MP3's 'cause you know how I love to listen to good music. Everything from alternative, love songs, and of course to my dance, house songs that includes J-pop and K-pop XD

Oh well, we'll just see what happens :p

I got curious to how I did last year so I played the entire set of raw videos. And damn! I caught myself laughing-out-loud! I kept on forgetting my lines, losing eye contact, cursing, and just being dumb XD

Gosh vlogging is hard! You just gotta admire all the vloggers. I salute you guys :)

Anyway, I fused three of the raw vlog videos. Enjoy watching :)

Register for the 2010 Philippine Elections

Two months ago, I saw a streamer taped on the glass entrance door of the SM mall which says that we can register ourselves as eligible voters for the upcoming 2010 Philippine elections. There was a specific date for the event to which I heeded. I was supposed to register last month but I was late, nobody was left to give me an application form XD

You might have guessed that it's my first time to vote, well it is. Why? I'm one of those persons who think that a piece of vote won't matter. What can it do anyway? Dunno, I consider it a waste of time. Besides, I hate being in a long line :p

I changed my mind after hearing news that the 2010 upcoming election would be a presidential election. I thought this would be interesting because I know my vote would matter. We can again pick the right person to lead our country to a more bright future.

To those who haven't registered yet, you should remember that we have the right to vote so why waste the opportunity not to.

If you felt Cory Aquino's strive to unite the Filipinos, then you know what to do.

How to remove 'Jollybee virus'

>> 13 August, 2009

Just awhile ago, I scanned my co-worker's flashdrive; opened it up and transferred some files. After that, I browsed through some emails and noticed a peculiar text written at the end of my browser's title bar.

It says, "Jollybee is Watching..."

I was like, "Oh crap! It's a virus!"

I surfed-up some information and to my surprise, there were only a few. I thought this might be a new threat! And it is! Still, I did find some related searches about the matter.

Jollybee Virus is made by a Filipino (cool!!! XD) from Surigao, that when you log on into your PC, Jollibee will come flying into your desktop. The virus will disconnect you from the network, disable Task Manager, Regedit, and Folder Options. In a forum, a commenter states that the virus also disables your antivirus and firewall protections, and your Windows Updates.

I panicked a little but I was more keen to what was happening 'cause a Filipino guy made this virus XD Okay, that's not the point of this post. Back to the topic...

I surfed for Malware removals and found a nifty scanning and tweaking software called "WormBlaster" which in fact was made by another Filipino guy named Fortunato Estorgio Jr. cool!!!

Coincidence? nehhhhhh... lols XD

Walkthrough on WormBlaster:

1. AutoRepair - This is how I got rid of Jollybee. Click 'Built-in Killers' button. Select Jollybee. Press "Run BlasterScript". And poof! It's gone :)

The AutoRepair function also removes other malwares like AutoMe (auto.vbs), Autorun.vbs, Cool USEP Scandal, FU Virus, Funny UST Scandal, Gphone Sonahad, Heular, Mma, Nude SSG Sex Scandal, Password_viewer, Samoku! (samoku.vbs), Sohanada, Taga Lipa Are, and ZTE Scandal (Trojan -Ztemp3).

2. Process Inspector - List of programs running in your PC to which you can terminate.

3. Registry Tweaks - Awesome tweaking if you encountered some viruses disabling your Hidden files, Run Command, Task Manager, Registry Editor, etc.

4. Startup Entry Viewer - Programs that runs when you log on to your PC to which you can disable by unchecking the checkbox.

5. Autorun Manager - Tweaks your autorun command according to your desire.

6. Search 'n Destroy - Scans for viruses and malwares.

7. Log Agent - Jot downs your Computer System's Running Processes, Startup List, and Critical System Configuration.

8. Submit Suspicious File - You can send a suspicious file to our Filipino friend to which you think can 'cause serious mayhem. He might help you with your problems with this :)

9. Bird's Eye - This feature sends a report to our Filipino friend to detect if a Malware has invaded your PC. I recommend enabling this feature :)

10. AutoScan - To enable or disable WormBlaster to scan your documents.

Thanks to WormBlaster and Fortunato, Jollybee won't be buzzing in my PC anymore.

*Pinoy ikaw ay Pinoy
Ipakita sa mundo
Kung anong kaya mo
Iba't-iba and Pinoy
Wag kang matatakot
Ipagmalaki mo
Pinoy ako, Pinoy tayo*

STOP fussing about President Arroyo's group dinner with President Obama!

>> 11 August, 2009

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo (GMA) treated President Barrack Obama at a French restaurant in Manhattan called Le Cirque. That's a nice gesture to show appreciation of our president for the time and company given to her group.

But what's this?! Angry countrymen over their dinner?

Filipinos outraged by $20,000 restaurant bill then na-na-na-na-na-na Everybody thought it came from people's tax then na-na-na-na-na-na People rallying to how our country is malnourished...

ENOUGH!

I can't help but laugh hysterically to how wrong and dumb the news turned out! We should be happy because GMA lifted our Filipino pride by showing Obama our trademark attitude - hospitality.

So STOP banging your spoon and forks on the streets of Manila. My god, that's so uncivilized! Be ashamed! You're degrading our dignity even more than it was before!

Don't be judgemental!!! STOP jumping to conclusions!!! STOP hearing people's ranted opinions!!! Do your own research! SHEESH! Such a typical pinoy attitude!

Before anything else, you should consider reading this list:

1. Filipinos are known for their hospitality. Our parents taught us to serve our guests first before ourselves. No matter how lavish or not, we make sure our guests are treated accordingly. There are instances where our guests are already eating and were not. We may still be in the kitchen cooking, assisting our guests or washing our plates.

2. If we were a guest in a house, it's a good gesture to give something. It's a way to show how we were pleased for their given time and space for providing their home for us.

3. There are occasions where a friend or relative treats you to eat outside, lavish or not, we refuse the offer even if we want to. But if the host persisted, then it's best that we say yes 'cause it's a sign that they enjoy our company with them; also, it would be rude to refuse if we denied it once more. Don't forget to say thank you.

People started wondering why GMA treated Obama in a luxurious restaurant. Like duh! Obama is THE President of the United States - a powerful country.

After months of making appointments to have a conversation with Obama, squeezing to his tight schedule, he finally had time to talk to her. It's a joyous opportunity! That's a reason why she treated him well.

Just think, if President Arroyo didn't show a sign of appreciation, it would be a great disrespect and a sign that she doesn't appreciate the act of adjusting Obama's schedule to meet her. It would be an embarrassing act to our country! Expect that to reach headlines all around the globe!

Yeah, think about that! :p

Chocolate Disco by Perfume

Boris?!!! another song??? lols XD

Okay, okay, I guess you've been noticing my personal blog is turning into a Japanese music blog but don't worry I'll get back on posting opinionated topics from an open-minded guy. I know you miss all my raves especially my rants, yes, I know you do XD

Anyway, I would like to introduce another Japanese song called Chocolate Disco by Perfume. It has a funky beat with a touch of kawaiiness.

As always, keep on dancin' :)

Chocolate Disco by Perfume

English Lyrics:
Chocolate Disco...

A calculating girl and
A hopeful boy
An anxious girl and
A boy pretending not to care

Valentine's is nearing
They're trembling in the department store*
A calculating girl and
A hopeful boy

I hope my feelings reach you
With these sweets that have my heart in them
It would be good if my feelings reach you
The day we confront each other is here

Chocolate Disco...

A calculating girl and
A hopeful boy
An anxious girl and
A boy pretending not to care

I hope my feelings reach you
With these sweets that have my heart in them
It would be good if my feelings reach you
The classroom is somehow a dancefloor now

Chocolate Disco...

Japanese Lyrics:
Chokoreito disuko...

Keisan suru onna no ko
Kitai shiteru otoko no ko
Tokimeiteru onna no ko
Ki ni shinai furi otoko no ko

Barentain ga chikazuite
Depaato no chika mo yureru
Keisan suru onna no ko

Special One by Kors K feat. Suzuyo Miyamoto

>> 08 August, 2009

Hearing Special One made me smile. It's fresh and clear even if the lyrics is about a girl who likes a certain guy XD The song is from a Jubeat album so expect this to be in a Drum Mania Machine.

The easy beat along with the harmony of the background singers makes this song enjoyable to dance with. Come on, I know you can easily brew up a dance move with this :)

Special One by Kors k feat. Suzuyo Miyamoto

Lyrics:
I wanna be your girl
I wanna hold you so tight
Baby, come close to me
I'm crazy for you
I wanna be your girl
I wanna be with you tonight ya…
I can't wait no more!!

行くあてもなく走り続けた
真夜中ずっとはしゃぐ二人 Drivin'
もどかしい距離近付けるように
二人の好きな曲で埋め尽くして

Can't stop loving you
あの日からずっと
Can't stop think of you
何も手につかない
Oh, I can't go back
この想いはあなたへと加速し続ける

もう止まらない もう戻れない
Baby, Don't you know
that you're always in my mind
知らぬ間にきっと 恋に落ちてた
そばにいたいの
Oh I wanna be your special one

I wanna be your girl
I wanna hold you so tight
Baby, come close to me
I'm crazy for you
I wanna be your girl
I wanna be with you tonight ya…
I can't wait no more!!

My collection of memorabilia's to remember Cory Aquino

>> 06 August, 2009

The top four newspapers are dated today while the one below was a newspaper dated August 2, after the death of Cory Aquino.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer and The Philippine Star did a splendid job with their newspapers. Manila Bulletin didn't do much but they made two newspapers with different front pages, one with Cory and the other with Kris Aquino.

Focusing again to the bottommost newspaper, The Philippine Star. I only bought this among all the newspapers because the cover is more appealing than the rest XD

Cool huh? But still, I want to have more stuff from this historic event, like badges, t-shirts, banners, posters, the confetti, the flower, and the yellow ribbon :)

Hopefully, I could find some XD

Zombies on your Lawn by Laura Shigihara OST Plants vs. Zombies

>> 05 August, 2009

Waahhhh!!! I'm so addicted to playing Plants vs. Zombies!!! Hours and hours of nonstop madness! wohoo!! XD

For the meantime, I'll share an original soundtrack from the game entitled, "Zombies on your Lawn" by Laura Shigihara. The song has an English and a Japanese version. Luckily, I've been to Laura's blog where she posted the Japanese lyrics of the song :)

Waahhh this made me smile :)

Zombies on your Lawn by Laura Shigihara

Lyrics:
(chorus)
There's a zombie on your lawn
There's a zombie on your lawn
There's a zombie on your lawn
We don't want zombies on the lawn

I know your type: tall, dark, and dead
You want to bite all the petals off of my head
And then eat the brains of
the one who planted me here

I'm just a sunflower but see
me power an entire infantry
You like the taste of brains
we don't like zombies

I used to play football
Road cones protect my head
I have a screen-door shield
We are the undead

(repeat chorus)

Maybe it's time to reevaluate
I know you have a lot of food on your plate
Brains are quite rich in cholesterol

You're dead so it doesn't matter,
Instead we'll use this solar power
to make a lawn defense at any hour

I like the tricycle
There's butter on my head
I'm gonna eat your brains

(repeat chorus)

Uraniwa ni Zombies Ga by Laura Shigihara

Lyrics:
(chorus)
Zombie ga yatte kita
Zombie ga yatte kita
Zombie ga yatte kita
Zombie wa dete ita

(verse 1)
Zombie wa kowai gaikotsu
Hanabira zenbu o toritagaru
Sono ato atama wo tabetagaru
Tadano Himawari
Dakedo watashi wa tsuyoi!

(pre-chorus 1)
Softball de asonda yo!
Helmetto wo kabutta zo!
Screen door wo motta zo!
Oretachi Zombie, Zombie, Zombie da!

(chorus)
Zombie ga yatte kita
Zombie ga yatte kita
Zombie ga yatte kita
Zombie wa dete ita

(verse 2)
Uraniwa de asobitai
Atama wo taberu no yamenasai
Noumiso niwa cholesterol ga ippai
Shinda node kankei nai kedo
Solar power de tatakau yo
Shokubutsu wo mamoru tame

(pre-chorus 2)
Sono sanrinsha choudai
Atama ni butter ga kuttsui jata
Noumiso taberu zo!
Oretachi Zombie, Zombie, Zombie da!

(chorus)
Zombie ga yatte kita

Christian Bautista: Reinvented

>> 03 August, 2009

I had fun reading Ricky Lo's interview with Christian Bautista. Throughout their conversation, Christian was completely honest and didn't fail to amuse me with his answers to some daring questions. It's more on his personal side, like girls to nightlife to sex life and with his body XD

The article mentions about Christian's "reinvention" to which in my opinion, is a wise perspective - changing his "good-boy" look into a much more mature singer . Looks may count but the substance of the songs he sings is worth breathing.

In the interview, Christian said that he goes to the gym because he has an ectomorph body type. He also stated that he has a fast metabolism leading to his big consumption of food. Kinda reminds me of myself XD

----

In a way, I'm a Christian Bautista fan because he sings sincerely with his heart. I know every singer does that but Christian is different, there's this piece of something that you can't explain into words. My connection of what I feel with him and to his songs truly captured my weak spot.

He has a remarkable list of heart-warming songs like Colour Everywhere, Hands to Heaven, and The Way You Look at Me. But Invincible indubitably caught me in the sack, my tears kept falling down my cheeks... Gosh, I so love that song... Honestly, when I was finding a youtube video to embed in this blog entry, I had to stop the video from playing... I might cry again.. :'(

Invincible by Christian Bautista

Lyrics:
I don't have nerves of steel
I have a heart that feels
I may have cried a million
tears but I wont drown
I let myself unfold
Gave you my hand to hold
You took me beyond where
I could see
And then you let go of me. .

Chorus:
I was damaged by the fall
Got the wind knocked out of me
To be standing here at all
I must be invincible
I thought that I would break
But now I have come to see
Something strong and beautiful
Inside of me
I must be invincible

I don't have X-rays eyes
Don't have a heart so wise
How could I have known
you'd let me down
If I had known that then
my eyes were wide open
I still believe I would've risked it
There's no way i would've missed it

(Chorus)

Hey yeah yeah. . . its a
blessing and a curse
Hey yeah yeah. . . But
you find out just
what you're worth.

I was damaged by the fall
Got the wind knocked out of me
To be standing here at all
I must be invincible

I thought that I would break
But now I have come to see
Something strong and beautiful
Inside of me
(I must be invincible x8)

Wow! That hit the spot! Gotta stop being emo now : ' )

The most valued thing in life

A young man learns what's most important in life from the guy next door.

It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man. College, girls, career, and life itself got in the way.

In fact, Jack moved clear across the country in pursuit of his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy life, Jack had little time to think about the past and often no time to spend with his wife and son. He was working on his future, and nothing could stop him.

Over the phone, his mother told him, 'Mr. Belser died last night. The funeral is Wednesday. Memories flashed through his mind like an old newsreel as he sat quietly remembering his childhood days.

Jack, did you hear me? Oh sorry, Mom. Yes, I heard you. It's been so long since I thought of him. I'm sorry, but I honestly thought he died years ago, Jack said.

Well, he didn't forget you. Every time I saw him he'd ask how you were doing. He'd reminisce about the many days you spent over his ‘side of the fence' as he put it, Mom told him.

I loved that old house he lived in, Jack said.

You know, Jack, after your father died, Mr. Belser stepped in to make sure you had a man's influence in your life,' she said.

He's the one who taught me carpentry, he said. I wouldn't be in this business if it weren't for him. He spent a lot of time teaching me things he thought were important...

Mom, I'll be there for the funeral, Jack said.

As busy as he was, he kept his word. Jack caught the next flight to his hometown.

Mr. Belser's funeral was small and uneventful. He had no children of his own, and most of his relatives had passed away.

The night before he had to return home, Jack and his Mom stopped by to see the old house next door one more time.

Standing in the doorway, Jack paused for a moment. It was like crossing over into another dimension, a leap through space and time...The house was exactly as he remembered.

Every step held memories. Every picture, every piece of furniture...Jack stopped suddenly.
What's wrong, Jack? his Mom asked.

The box is gone, he said.

What box? Mom asked.

There was a small gold box that he kept locked on top of his desk.I must have asked him a thousand times what was inside... All he'd ever tell me was 'the thing I value most,' Jack said. It was gone.Everything about the house was exactly how Jack remembered it,except for the box. He figured someone from the Belser family had taken it.

Now I'll never know what was so valuable to him, Jack said. I better get some sleep. I have an early flight home, Mom.'

It had been about two weeks since Mr. Belser died. Returning home from work one day, Jack discovered a note in his mailbox. 'Signature required on a package. No one at home. Please stop by the main post office within the next three days, the note read.

Early the next day Jack retrieved the package. The small box was old and looked like it had been mailed a hundred years ago. The handwriting was difficult to read, but the return address caught his attention. 'Mr. Harold Belser' it read.

Jack took the box out to his car and ripped open the package. There inside was the gold box and an envelope. Jack's hands shook as he read the note inside.

Upon my death, please forward this box and its contents to Jack Bennett. It's the thing I valued most in my life.'A small key was taped to the letter. His heart racing, as tears filling his eyes!Jack carefully unlocked the box. There inside he found a beautiful gold pocket watch. Running his fingers slowly over the finely etched casing, he unlatched the cover.
Inside he found these words engraved: "Jack, thanks for your time!" - Harold Belser.

The thing he valued most was..my time.

Jack held the watch for a few minutes then called his office and cleared his appointments for the next two days. 'Why?' Janet, his assistant asked.'I need some time to spend with my son,' he said.'Oh, by the way, Janet..thanks for your time!

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.

This was posted on our bulletin board. I know it was a chain email but hey the story is worth reading :)

The original title for the story is Time, I guess you could've figured out what was on the box neh? XD

I've posted this not only because I loved the lesson of the story, it's because I related myself to the situation of Jack. I too, have been f*uckin' busy with all the things that I do that I started to forget how to relax and have fun with my family.

*sighs*

Condolence to Corazon Aquino

María Corazón "Cory" Cojuangco Aquino
(January 25, 1933 – August 1, 2009)

I've read from Gilbert's blog that former President Corazon Aquino, at the age of 76, died 3:18 this morning with cardio-respiratory arrest after complications of colon cancer at the Makati Medical Center.

"I would rather die a meaningful death than to live a meaningless life."
- Corazon Aquino

I may not know her that much as everybody else but losing someone dearly is a moment I shouldn't pass.

Condolence to our former President Cory Aquino. Thank you for uniting us Filipinos, thank you.
